Special Function AMCs

As the range of applications for AdvancedMC™, MicroTCA™ and AdvancedTCA® continues to grow, new and specialized modules will inevitable need to be designed. Some of these cards may not fit neatly into existing I/O categories. Our GPS clock AdvancedMC™, for example, is a special function card which derives a clock signal from the Global Positioning System. This module is particularly useful for telecom network edge applications where there is no access to an accurate clock. Other specialized cards with unique functions will also be added to this category.
